The holiday season can be particularly difficult after the loss of a loved one.
Grief and joy do not have to erase one another. You can feel both grief of your loss and joy of the season at the same time.
Allow your emotions to flow freely without judgement. Allow yourself to feel exactly what you are feeling and don't let others decide where you should be. It is okay to limit events if you are feeling overwhelmed.
Integrate new traditions into old ones. If decorating the entire house is too difficult, try decorating one room or a corner of a room.
By working with a grief coach, you can discover strategies to honor your loved one and still find peace this holiday season. Contact us to see if grief coaching is the right fit for you.
